What is a challenge?

A challenge is a race created by the Virtual Regatta team. It includes:

• One type of boat
• A duration
• A course
• A minimum number of races you need to completed in order to be listed in the rankings

Challenges over a longer period of time require you to complete a higher number of races.

You can find several types of challenges:

• Green challenges (in the Challenges category) are competitions to practice before official events

• Private Challenges and Arenas are closed challenges reserved for special occasions. Not everyone has access to them

• Blue challenges (in the eSWC category) are challenges of factor 1 countind towards the Esailing World Championship.

• Black eSailGP challenges (in the eSWC challenges) are challenges of factor 2 counting towards the Esailing World Championship.

• Pro Racer challenges are challenges where you need to bid credits. Depending on your final position you may earn more or less than your bid.

• Cutom Races are races organized and created by the community.

• Duels / Match Races are challenges of 1v1

• Tutorials / Training challenges help you practice how to helm each boat as well as teach you how to race a virtual regatta
