If you are experiencing difficulties logging in or accessing the various maps, please try these steps one by one:
- Did you update your internet browser?
Edge: To update Edge, you have to use Windows Update. Windows Update is available from the Windows Settings panel on your computer.
Firefox: Launch Firefox, open the Settings menu then click the "?" icon, then "About Firefox". A new window appears showing the version of Firefox that is currently installed. If a new version is available, you will see an option to "Install the update".
Safari: Updates are made via the Mac OS settings panel: From the Apple menu, choose "Software update". If a new version of Safari is available, you will be able to download it.
Chrome: Launch Chrone, then click the 3 horizontal bars in the menu section, then choose "About Google Chrome". This checks available updates and installs them automatically. You will have to restart Chrome to finish the update process.
- Have you tried playing from another supported browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome?
- Does your browser run WebGL?
Chrome: Type "about:flags" (without the inverted commas) in the address bar, then look for "WebGL" and enable it.
Firefox: Type "about:config" (without the inverted commas) in the address bar, then look for "webgl.force-enabled" and switch it to "true". If you can find "webgl.disabled", switch its value to "false"
Safari: Open the Safari menu, choose "Preferences", click the "Advanced" tab, then select "Show Develop menu in menu bar". Then open the "Develop" menu and choose "Activate WebGL".
- Did you update your graphics card driver?
On a PC: Open the Settings panel, then run a search on "Device manager". Then under "Display adaptors", choose your graphics card and update its driver.
On Mac OS X: Click the Apple menu, then "Software update". If an update is available for Mac OS X, you will be able to install it. Existing graphics card driver updates will be listed there.
Remember: WebGL might not be available on certain older PC or Mac computers, or on computers that run on an operating system that is no longer updated, such as Windows XP. If your connection is slow, or if you use a 3G key or public network, you can expect difficulties when trying to log in.
If you are playing from your workplace, your IT department may block your access to the game.
